Modern Tale
Architectural custom cabinetry for a minneapolis, minnesota.

Modern Tale is a commissioned architectural custom cabinetry project shaped for a modern private residence. The work integrates storage, proportion, and material into one quiet architectural system, with hardwood and refined surface materials selected to read as part of the interior rather than applied decoration.
Design objectives centered on restraint and precision: flush lines, considered reveals, and hardware that disappears into the joinery. Each elevation was developed to support daily use without visual noise, from full-height storage to integrated pulls and tailored interior organization.
Developed for a minneapolis, minnesota context, the project reflects site-specific proportions and the client's preference for Nordic modern clarity. Cabinet heights, depths, and surface rhythms were calibrated to the architecture of the room.
Craft highlights include dovetail drawer construction. Every visible surface was finished to support long-term use in a luxury residential setting, with the same discipline applied to concealed interiors and hardware.
For homeowners, architects, and interior designers considering similar work, Modern Tale illustrates how bespoke cabinetry can anchor a room without dominating it. Storage, display, and daily function remain integrated into a single quiet system.
